100th post, $100 gift card giveaway!

100 seems like a special number. We celebrate 100th birthdays and anniversaries and days of school, so why not 100 blog posts?

100 posts might not seem like a big deal to many people, but to me, it is a reason to celebrate, a reason to reward the people who have been with me for the beginning steps of this journey. I love sharing recipes and life with you and hope there will be many more posts yet to come.

To celebrate, I am giving away one gift card to Amazon.com for $100! You can use it for whatever you want–new kitchen gadgets, favorite music or movies, roller skates, tools, books, maybe some sugar free gummy bears or a banana slicer (read the reviews first)?

  1. I really enjoy reading your blog and recipies. I have been working on a blog and I now know just how much time and work goes into blogging! Your doing great!!!! I use your monster cookie recipe, the one I previously used made such a huge batch and I always cut it down but so much easier to use yours!

    • Thank you for your support and encouragement. I’m glad you have found the blog useful. Are you thinking of doing a cooking blog? It does take some time, but it has been so much fun to connect with people and share something I love. I am also happy to have the recipes and notes I have made put into a place and format that can be accessed anywhere and any time. Even though my kids are young, they already talk about using the blog someday to make “mommy’s cookies or ____.” I love that.

  2. You are such an inspiration! Amazing that you have put all of this together with everything else that you do!

  3. I love reading your posts and getting ideas to use in my own kitchen. I just need to get the motivation to try a recipe by making it myself. My kids love your food. And I try to look at your posts each time I notice one pop up in my newsfeed.

  4. I have recently found your blog through a friend. In always looking for new recipes, especially ones that my children would enjoy. I can’t wait to try your baked chicken requires and your fresh lemon bars. Yum!

  5. Your cookie and recipe are to die for! Well, and the cakes are a family favorite!! Thank you for being willing to share your recipes with others!
