Asian Glazed Skillet Chicken
This Asian Glazed Chicken is one of my favorite main dishes in the winter, that is, when I am not eating soup. I do a lot of grilling in the summer, and interestingly, one of my favorite summer meals is an Asian grilled chicken. I see a theme here; I guess I like a lot of Asian flavors. If you like Asian flavors, you will probably love this chicken too.

Crème Brûlée
Crème Brûlée is just yummy. Maybe even divine.
The sound of the spoon tapping into the cooked sugar on top is absolutely lovely. Beautiful. The top layer reminds me of being a kid in Minnesota and gently stepping a boot into a small puddle that has just iced over to watch the cracks form.
The inside?
Smooth, cool, creamy, vanilla-y, and so rich. Yum.

Fancy Chocolate Covered Strawberries {on a budget}
Every year around this time, I see grocery stores advertising chocolate covered strawberries for Valentine’s Day. I am always amazed at the price.
“You can get a pack of 4 for just $5.99!”

Valentine Popcorn Mix
Valentine’s Day is one of those “holidays” that some people love and others love to hate. Is it a real holiday or is it just a marketing scheme from card makers and candy and flower companies? As a high school teacher, it was always one of the worst days of the school year.
