100th post, $100 gift card giveaway!

100 seems like a special number. We celebrate 100th birthdays and anniversaries and days of school, so why not 100 blog posts?

100 posts might not seem like a big deal to many people, but to me, it is a reason to celebrate, a reason to reward the people who have been with me for the beginning steps of this journey. I love sharing recipes and life with you and hope there will be many more posts yet to come.

To celebrate, I am giving away one gift card to Amazon.com for $100! You can use it for whatever you want–new kitchen gadgets, favorite music or movies, roller skates, tools, books, maybe some sugar free gummy bears or a banana slicer (read the reviews first)?

  1. You definitely inspire me to try new things! Knowing that you are a mom who can find time to make such yummy creations for your kiddos gives me motivation to cook for my kids. The chocolate chip cookies you made are the best I’ve ever had and I love how you adjusted to recipe for high altitude. I admit I made some a couple months ago but was feeling lazy & didn’t look up your recipe. I just followed the recipe on the back of the package, NEVER AGAIN! Lesson learned, I will only be using your recipe in the future! Lovetheblog! Yay a for 100 posts!

    • Thank you for your comment, Rebecca! I am glad the blog has been helpful for you.

  2. I really enjoy reading your blog. Thank you for putting your yummy dishes here so that I can try to make them. I truly miss your goodies on Wednesday’s.

  3. I like the recipes and I love your cooking and baking, but my favorite part of the blog is when you include your personal stories and submissions.

I think it’s hard for some people to be honest about their weaknesses, because they are afraid of others knowing about their blemishes.

Because of your brave, articulate (and often times funny) posts- you open the window and let the sunshine in- inspiring and freeing others to face their weaknesses and embrace life.

  4. I love reading your blogs – not just for the recipes, but because I love how you write! You’re kind, funny, insightful, plus, I get to say “I knew you when”! Btw, I’ve made the peanut butter eggs on more than one occasion, & they’re a bit every time! Keep it up, lady – you rock!

    • Thank you so much for reading my blog and for your encouragement. I am glad the peanut butter eggs have been a hit.

  5. Love all of your recipes. Have mad a few of them. Look forward to making many more ? it was wonderful seeing u this summer and our kids meeting for the first time!!!

    • I’m glad you are enjoying the recipes. Yes, it was wonderful to see you and your family too. It was a really nice part of our visit, and I hope we can do it again sometime when we visit Minnesota.
